@tchambers @deadsuperhero this is a great read.
@shawnhooper hah, that’s where we’d get all our batteries from cuz those are usually thrown out!
Backstage is so organized :)

Oh wow - I need to read this about 8 times, and then think hard about who seems to like using AI and who doesn’t.
This could be a thing.
@emd @randahl @elasticsoul ah, well that's why I was confused in Germany, then. There, 2:30 is "halb drei" iirc. Why, why, why? 😵💫
@deborahh @randahl @elasticsoul nope, 3:30
@emd @randahl @elasticsoul isn't 2:30 "half three" in the UK too?
@randahl @elasticsoul @deborahh how on earth is 2.5 halfway to 3?
gnight #wmhack :blobfoxsleep:
@elasticsoul this is correct. In Danish the names for 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 comes from multiples of 20. And given that
2.5 times 20 is 50, that is pronounced half-three-times-twenty, where half-three means 2.5 (half-way to three). In Danish: Halvtredsindstyve
3 times 20 is 60, so three-times-twenty is 60. In Danish: Tredsindstyve.
And so on and so forth.
