I’m not kidding when I say I spent years asking for recommendations for podcasts “told in a narrative format over many episodes” when what I was looking for was audiobooks 🥲

There are definitely some podcasts like this - like the nonfiction shows “The City” (Reveal), “Unreformed,” “This Land” (Crooked), “Blind Plea” (Lemonada) & “Central” (My Cultura Network); and the fiction series “Alice Isn’t Dead” & “The Bright Sessions” - but FAR more audiobooks!y

@evan ah… should YOU tell them? The situations where these apply are endless and varied. Choose ur own adventure. (A one size fits all rule doesn’t seem like it could work here.)

This past week I have been talking to surprisingly many people who are really worn down by the world situation.

It feels like we had a normal world prior to COVID-19, and ever since we have had chaos. From COVID to the Ukraine war to Trump's reelection to a NATO crisis to now an Iran war and an energy crisis.

It is a lot.

What we need is hope for a better future.

The Hungarian people have a chance to give the world hope today.

Vote Orbán out. ✊🏻

@evan I was responsible for how block and mute work on Twitter. Ideally, these are two separate tools with different functionality.

Block intentionally lets the blocker know that they’ve been blocked (when they try more interaction with you). It also stops syndicating your posts to them, hides your stuff from them, and removes you from their lists.

Mute came later and the main difference is that mute doesn’t let the mutee know that they are muted. It is you controlling your frame.

Date night w/o kiddos is when I really want to figure out this whole geo check-in with AP. Not really for you, more for me.
