I ordered food after tonight’s concert. I went to meet the delivery guy outside the hotel lobby.
As I stepped onto the sidewalk, a bicyclist slammed into me. We both went flying. I got the wind knocked out of me and several bruises. The cyclist helped me up and then rode off. I was dazed, took the food from the driver who seemed just as shocked as a witness, and limped back to my room.
Took me several minutes to realize what had happened. The meter in front of the hotel isn’t a bike lane. WTF
