@emd @randahl @elasticsoul isn't 2:30 "half three" in the UK too?
@randahl @elasticsoul @deborahh how on earth is 2.5 halfway to 3?
gnight #wmhack :blobfoxsleep:
@elasticsoul this is correct. In Danish the names for 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 comes from multiples of 20. And given that
2.5 times 20 is 50, that is pronounced half-three-times-twenty, where half-three means 2.5 (half-way to three). In Danish: Halvtredsindstyve
3 times 20 is 60, so three-times-twenty is 60. In Danish: Tredsindstyve.
And so on and so forth.
I walked a bit today but I don't think it was *that* much!! *cue canned laughter*
@maxleibman as a woman on the internet, I find far too many use cases for this one
Reading things on social media is really annoying these days.

One of my favorite things about being neurodivergent is wrapping up a serious work meeting and immediately breaking into a musical stim. Today it’s me singing this mashup from eons ago
