any other #wmhack people on EC 21? :blobfox3c:
@evan It might even be the same and I just failed to express myself correctly!
I‘m thinking about an Activity Streams vocabulary where you can use Wikidata IDs to describe things. E.g. clarifying that you talk about Berlin in Germany (https://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q64), not the one in Connecticut, USA (https://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q821199).
Or use it to specify authors, composers etc.
yup, missed the connection. found another decent one (actually straight from Zurich to Milan, rather than with a change in Lugano), we’ll see if my ticket is valid here (it’s flexible but I’m still not sure given that my last leg was supposed to be only a regional train)
What the … WHAT!
Denmark, please explain.

@johl for ActivityPubbers, we define objects with an HTTPS URL that points to a JSON-LD document with the Activity Streams vocabulary. So, it's probably close to what you're thinking!
@danyork my goal is an ActivityPub app that lets you "check in" to a movie or book. 🤞🏼 We'll see how it goes.
Oh, watching @wmhack for updates!
the Swiss train is accumulating more and more delay, to the point where my connection in Zurich, which was originally quite generous, is now in jeopardy :/
@evan Fascinating! I’ll be very interested to learn about what comes out of your work there!
@evan I have some half-baked ideas about using Wikidata identifiers (QIDs) to unambiguously reference topics in ActivityPub, maybe as a JSON-LD extension/vocabulary. I‘m not in Milan, but I‘d like to connect if something comes out of your Hackathon project!
