@evan oooh, interesting. What algorithm are you using?

All the algorithms I've seen for ascii-fication have failed miserably, because of the variety of pronunciations in regional dialects. e.g. اختبار could be ikhtibar iktbar... And gets much worse with letters like ق or ع.

@reiver like that! It strips punctuation. That's why @_followback and a couple of other utility accounts have an underscore; it prevents a collision.

I added a disclaimer to #tagspub account bios to make it clear that personal names or trademarks in the username did not imply association or endorsement.
