What makes me mad about the US soldier who made bets on Polymarket about the Venezuela invasion is how selfish he was.

He put the entire operation at risk by raising a suspicious signal in public.

Did he even think about how much less rich Chevron shareholders would be if the invasion was scuttled and they didn't get their hands on the Venezuelan people's oilfields? Or did he just not care about anyone but himself?
