@evan Yeah; I'm not claiming I know either. It's just that so much of contemporary discourse that I encounter around The Big Tech Corps is fixated on the few that are around right now, which is incomplete — your comment about how the Internet was perceived in the early years (which I also remember firsthand #old) prompted me to think about that.

We definitely need to be wary of survivorship bias with corporations as much as we do with the ... mortals.
